  What does Coaching involve?

Coaching is a one-to-one relationship which enables you to gain clarity in your life. Clarity is gained by identifying what you want out of your life. Coaching can help you to attain this in your personal or professional life and this is not done by giving you answers or advice. You are, in fact, the expert in your own life. A coach will elicit your solutions through skilful questioning. A coach will always listen non-judgementally; sometimes they will support and, at other times, will ask the thought provoking questions that promote clarity. A Coach will help you to achieve the future that you want and create the changes what you want to happen.

Why go to a Coach at all?

If you are the expert in your own life, why would you need a coach at all? If we want to arrive at a destination and know vaguely where it is, we may get there in time, we might procrastinate or we may never start the journey. To arrive at your destination involves a map or a tom-tom. You know where you want to start from and you know where you want to go and a coach helps you get there by helping you with the journey. A coach is your map or tom-tom and helps you keep on track and within sight of your destination.

What are the benefits of Coaching?

  • Progress towards and achievement of goals.
  • Better relationships.
  • Improvement in working life.
  • Have a life instead of an existence.

How often would you need to see a Coach?

Most coaching lasts for between 2 and 12 sessions. However, coaching can carry on for as long as you want.
